Cosa aspettarsi
A notice in the Harrisburg Telegraph on 12 February 1919 names Billy West in Ship Ahoy at the Victoria cinema. That contemporary listing helps identify this silent comedy among films sharing the same title; it does not document a surviving edition or its running time.
Come avvicinarsi al film
When identifying a copy, match the 1919 date and Billy West credit rather than relying on the title alone. The source cited here supports the film’s exhibition history, not a shot-by-shot account of its action.

A title can launch a whole imagined voyage before a frame appears. I would rather separate that expectation from what the surviving records actually tell us.
