Was dich erwartet

A notice in the Harrisburg Telegraph on 12 February 1919 names Billy West in Ship Ahoy at the Victoria cinema. That contemporary listing helps identify this silent comedy among films sharing the same title; it does not document a surviving edition or its running time.

Tipps für den Einstieg

When identifying a copy, match the 1919 date and Billy West credit rather than relying on the title alone. The source cited here supports the film’s exhibition history, not a shot-by-shot account of its action.

Gut zu wissen

Ein kurzer, nicht vollständiger Hinweis A specific surviving presentation and its content have not been verified here. Treat the record as an identification aid, not a complete viewing or content guide.

A title can launch a whole imagined voyage before a frame appears. I would rather separate that expectation from what the surviving records actually tell us.
